Principle of measurement

The electronic unit detects the presence of either water or steam around one or more probes ,by measuring the conductivity between the probe tips themselves and the water column metallic wall. A suitable number of probes are fitted to the column. They are placed at different levels.

The electronic unit measures the water level within the column detecting the number and position of the probes.

LEMECON electrode type level gauge LMC series are made up of three main components:

LMC/C :  pressure water column

LMC/Eelectronic unit

LMC/P:  probes
